All-Around Youth 14-18

Story & Photo by Abigail Wilder Boatwright | Paint Horse Journal | July 2, 2011

After a stellar week of competition culminating in an All-Around Youth 14–18 title, Taylor Prince and One Flashy Sensation say good bye to Youth World Show competition.

Taylor Prince and One Flashy Sensation rule, earning the All-Around Youth 14–18 title a second time.

Without a doubt, Taylor Prince and One Flashy Sensation had a sensational 2011 AjPHA World Show. This was the last World Show the Las Vegas resident would ever attend as a Youth, and she made the most of it with her 2005 sorrel overo mare "Mel." Together, the pair earned buckles all but one of their classes, winning world championships in three events and reserve world championships in an additional three classes. Taylor and Mel defended their All-Around Youth 14–18 title from 2010, as well as their world championships in horsemanship and Western pleasure.
